National Assembly confirms schedule for next year's budget review

The ruling and opposition parties agreed on the schedule for the operation of the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts to review next year's budget.

Starting with the public hearing on the 31st, a comprehensive policy questionnaire will be conducted on the 7th and 8th of next month, followed by a review by economic ministries on the 11th and 12th, and a review by non-economic ministries on the 13th and 14th.

From the 18th of next month, the budget adjustment subcommittee, which examines the reduction and increase, will be in operation in earnest, and next year's budget plan will be deliberated and resolved at a general meeting on the 29th.

However, as the confrontation between the ruling and opposition parties over allegations related to Kim Gun-hee and the judicial risk of Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party, is intensifying, it is unclear whether the budget bill will be processed within the legal deadline on December 2.
