Jae-hyun, a member and actor of the popular group NCT, responded to a casting proposal for the new drama "I Believe in You" produced by a local production company earlier this year.

It is a black comedy about the growth of the weak against the strong, and Jaehyun was going to make his first drama debut as the male lead.

Youth actors such as actors Lee Chae-min, Kim Sun-young, and Park Sung-woong, and veteran actors were cast together to create synergy in acting.

However, the filming of the drama, which started in April this year, suddenly stopped from mid-June.

The production company forcibly started filming without confirming the investment, but the investment failed in the middle, causing problems.

The production company eventually disbanded all the actors and staff, but failed to pay for the filming.

Resuming filming has become virtually difficult.

This is because he has continued to fail to attract investment that he has tried since then, and Jae-hyun, the main character, is set to join the military in November.

Some of the victims, who did not receive months of wages, are said to be considering legal action.

In response, the representative of the production company told YTN, "We are trying to organize the problem through new investment companies, and we will take responsibility for the unpaid wages of actors and staff members to the end."

However, the conflict with actors and staff is expected to continue for the time being as it is not known how and when it will be paid.
