The Ministry of Unification said today that North Korea has regulated the Republic of Korea as a thoroughly hostile state through state media, mentioning the possibility of a constitutional amendment.
He then emphasized that he would respond firmly to any North Korean provocations and that efforts to achieve peaceful unification based on the basic liberal democratic order will be carried out in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, such as implementing the August 15 Unification Doctrine without a hitch.
In this regard, an official from the Ministry of Unification explained that although North Korea did not express it conclusively, the possibility of constitutional amendment seems to be high, but that we will watch other areas such as borders and territories without predicting.
