The prosecution asked the court today (17th) to sentence him to life in prison at the Seoul Eastern District Court for the murder of a man in his 20s, and requested him to attach a 30-year location tracking electronic device.
The prosecution revealed the reason for the request, saying that A was asked to break up several times by the victim, but he ignored it and continued to harass her, and even killed her simply because she did not go her way.
Mr. A was put on trial on May 21 for killing his girlfriend in her 20s by wielding a weapon and strangling her in a multi-family house in Jayang-dong, Seoul.
