Minister Cho made the remarks at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for Medical Group Action held today (17th), explaining the meaning of the discussion with the emergency committee of Seoul National University Hospital professor on the 10th.
He then stressed that although the debate did not narrow the difference between each other's positions, it is meaningful that dialogue to solve the problem has begun, and that he hopes to be able to open the door for dialogue with the medical community.
He also said that the medical community should participate in the ruling and opposition political consultative body and the manpower supply and demand estimation committee, adding that it is okay to propose a separate format like this debate.
