The organization was established in 1984 to promote exchanges and cooperation among Korean life scientists in Boston and New England.
Scientists have suggested that more people will consider going to Korea if they are in the support program during the transition period until they receive research funding from foreign post-doctoral programs and work as professors in Korea.
Choi Hyung-doo, the so-called chairman of the committee, said he will continue discussions on Korea's bio-development and sustainability, the creation of a research environment, and the direction of government projects.
