A man in his 30s fell into the sea at the pier of Pyeongtaek Port in Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, around noon today (17th).
A was rescued in cardiac arrest by a merchant ship passing by and taken to a hospital, but died.
Mr. A belongs to a ship repair company and is said to have boarded the ship for repairs outside the ship.
The Coast Guard plans to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident through witnesses.
