Kim Yong-min, the deputy floor leader for policy, and Kim Yong-man, the deputy floor leader, submitted a bill to the National Assembly's bill to investigate the facts of Kim Gun-hee's stock price manipulation case, including 13 suspicions related to Kim.
Earlier on the 4th, the first lady Kim's special prosecutor law returned to the National Assembly due to the president's exercise of the right to request reconsideration and was scrapped after a re-decision, but it was reissued in two weeks.
The newly submitted bill added allegations that Mrs. Kim rigged elections, including illegal polls, during the last presidential and presidential primaries through Myung Tae-kyun.
It also included allegations that Mrs. Kim intervened in the 2022 by-elections, as well as allegations that she was involved in the relocation of the presidential office and official residence and in state contracts, and suspicions of prosecutors' "looking after the investigation."
After the parliamentary audit, the Democratic Party plans to put the special prosecutor bill to the plenary session next month to deal with it.
