U.S. President Joe Biden has said that Hamas is now incapable of carrying out the same terror attack on October 7 after Israel removed its top political leader, Yahya Sinwar.

In a statement, Biden said he and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu would bring hostages into the family's arms and discuss ways to end the war once and for all.

He also said there was an opportunity for a political solution that could provide a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza, which is not ruled by Hamas, adding that obstacles no longer exist.

President Biden went on to say that DNA testing confirmed Sinwar's death, adding that today is a good day for Israel, the United States, and the world, and that it has proved again that no terrorist can escape justice.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who traveled to Wisconsin to campaign, said justice had been served for Sinwar's death, and that the United States, Israel and the world were better off.
