Amazon Prime Video said it will stream "Election Night with Brian Williams" broadcast from 5 p.m. (U.S. Eastern Time) on November 5, the U.S. presidential election day.Produced by
Prime Video with White Cherry Entertainment, the program aims to deliver real-time voting results on election day and provide in-depth analysis with various experts.
It is expected to be in a format similar to the broadcasting and commentary of voting results that existing broadcasters do every major election.
Veteran anchor and reporter Brian Williams, who left in 2021 after 28 years of hosting major U.S. broadcaster NBC's evening news program, will be in charge of the election broadcast of Prime Video.
Prime Video can be viewed by any Amazon member, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership in most countries where their services are offered.
Amazon is expanding its live-streaming program to its Prime Video streaming service to increase subscribers and boost advertising revenue, marking the first live news coverage.
