The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will come up with support measures related to subscription bankbooks for victims of cancellation of pre-subscription in the private sector.
Victims of pre-subscription cancellation will recognize the subscription period and number of payments that could have been filled if they had maintained their subscription account between the subscription winning and the business cancellation period.
The target is a total of 626 households, including the C28 block of Dongtan 2 New Town in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, which is a private pre-subscription complex whose project has been canceled.
The number of pre-subscription complexes is increasing due to soaring construction costs, and the measures are based on criticism that relief measures for victims are insufficient.
However, the victims are protesting that the actual status of winning the subscription needs to be restored rather than reviving the subscription bankbook, which could lead to a legal lawsuit.
