A man in his 70s, accused of murdering his ex-wife and stabbing an apartment security guard after his divorce, appealed against the first trial's ruling.

The Bucheon Branch of the Incheon District Court received an appeal letter from A, in his 70s, who was sentenced to 37 years and 6 months in prison on charges of murder and attempted murder on the 11th.

A was arrested and charged with stabbing his ex-wife, B, in her 60s, more than 10 times at an apartment in Unyang-dong, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 10:50 a.m. on March 17.

Mr. A usually suspected Mr. B's affair, but he reportedly committed the crime because he thought it was an affair when he saw Mr. B talking to a security guard.
