In a statement today (18th), the Korea Communications Commission stressed that if the "two-person system" is denied as pointed out by the court in the absence of the National Assembly's recommendation of members, the function of the KCC will be paralyzed and the Korea Communications Commission's decision on deliberation and sanctions will not take effect.
He also argued that it is not reasonable to deny the two-member system of the Korea Communications Commission, considering that the Constitutional Court recently suspended the effect of the seven-member judging quorum rule for fear of institutional paralysis.
In addition, the Korea Communications Standards Commission pointed out that it is an independent private organization, not an internal office of the Korea Communications Commission, and there are errors in the judgment of the court on the date and format of the meeting.
The KCC explained that as a central administrative agency that performs the duties of related laws, it will appeal immediately to fully clarify the legality of the two-person system so that its functions will not be paralyzed.
