"Deutsche" clarification that only raised controversy...Prosecutors "Never Fake Briefing"

The prosecution, which investigated the alleged manipulation of Deutsche Motors' stock price, explained that it had never falsely stated whether to search for Kim.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office released an explanatory document today (18th) and said in a four-hour briefing yesterday (17th) that there was only a misunderstanding in the process of delivering the seizure and search process, but that it never explained false information.

Prosecutors said they simultaneously investigated allegations that the exhibition planner "Kobana Content," run by Kim in 2020, was sponsored by a large company and the stock price manipulation of Deutsche Motors, and explained that the two charges were also pointed out in the warrant crime against Kim.

Citing the records in the briefing, he added that the search warrant for Kim was related to the Covana content case and that he had never requested a search warrant for the account holder in the Deutsche case.

However, controversy is expected to be inevitable as long-term briefings have not clearly explained whether they are forced to investigate and have not requested a search warrant for Kim for four and a half years.
