China should "make efforts to ease tensions" over announcement of "North Korea's dispatch"

Regarding the National Intelligence Service's announcement that North Korea's participation in the war in Ukraine has been confirmed, China has given a principled answer that it hopes all parties will make efforts to ease tensions.

China's foreign ministry responded to a request for comment on North Korea's announcement to confirm the dispatch, saying China's position on the Ukraine crisis was consistent and clear, AFP reported.

The West and Ukraine accuse China of supporting Russia's defense industry, calling for an end to the war in words, but China denies this.
