This time, it is known that North Korean combatants participating in the war in Ukraine are mainly led by special forces.

North Korea's special forces are known to have around 200,000 people, and reporter Kim Moon-kyung tells you what kind of unit it is.

This is a video of Chairman Kim Jong-un's special forces on-site map released by North Korea's Korean Central TV in 2016.

It shows bizarre training, such as placing stones or bricks on your body, breaking them with a hammer, winding rebar, or breaking light bulbs with your fingers.

[North Korean Central Television (last 2016): It is said that the combative temperament of hitting and crushing any object with a single stroke will be strengthened through training.]

In the event of an emergency, the special forces are deployed deep in the front, such as building a model of Cheong Wa Dae in the past and conducting batting drills.

Chairman Kim Jong-un also visited special warfare units last month (reported on September 13) and ordered them to ruthlessly sweep away emergencies.

The South Korean military has identified around 200,000 North Korean special forces.

It consists of the largest light brigade, the sniper brigade, and the air force brigade.

Special forces participating in the war in Ukraine are believed to have been dispatched from here.

[Kim Dae-young / Researcher of the Korea Institute for National Strategy: It has more than twice as much individual combat capability as ordinary infantry and can also operate heavy weapons such as anti-tank missiles, so it is highly likely to be deployed to places where fierce battles take place.]

In addition, North Korea has reportedly provided more than 8 million artillery shells to Russia, following anti-tank missiles and short-range ballistic missiles such as KN-23.

As a result, it is analyzed that a large number of troops to operate this are also likely to have been dispatched.
