At a campaign event in Grand Rappies, Michigan, Vice President Harris said thousands of Michigan auto workers lost their jobs during Trump's presidency.
Trump also promised not to lose a single plant, but added that six plants, including General Motors and Stellantis, were closed during his tenure.
During Trump's tenure, the U.S. lost nearly 200,000 manufacturing jobs in Michigan and elsewhere, Vice President Harris said, noting that he is one of the most lost manufacturing jobs in U.S. history.
