The Korea Meteorological Administration issued a strong wind warning for the five islands in the West Sea from 1 p.m. today (19th).
Earlier, a strong wind warning was in effect for Heuksando and Hongdo from 10 a.m.
Strong wind warnings are issued when wind speeds are expected to exceed 21 meters per second or 26 meters per second, and be careful because houses or objects may be broken.
Wind warnings remain in place in the far seas outside the middle of the West Sea and the far seas inside the middle of the West Sea.
Strong wind warnings are in effect in the morning in the mountainous areas of Jeju, eastern, northern, western, and western and eastern Ulsan.
Warnings are issued when street trees shake badly and the wind is strong enough to make it difficult for people to use umbrellas properly.
