Maison & Object, which can gauge the global interior trend, was held in Paris again this year.

There were also a number of traditional crafts that could show off our traditional beauty, especially the exhibits produced in collaboration with the national intangible heritage transferee and designers.

Reporter Jung Ji-yoon of Paris will guide you into the beauty of a different K-design.

Maison & Object, the world's largest interior fair where you can see the global interior flow at a glance!

Korean crafts are proudly occupying a place among new products from leading interior companies around the world.

Crafts that naturally incorporate Korean traditional beauty into modern designs catch the attention of visitors.

[Camille / Heart, a store specializing in Korean products: (Korean crafts) are used in pastel colors and are meticulous. These products are not found in France. That's why it feels more attractive.]

[Jung Ji-yoon / CEO of 'The Selfie Plus': (When I looked around Maison & Objet) I saw a lot of fancy things. On the other hand, I think that crafts or various products brought from Korea were more attractive to foreigners with a more elegant and Korean sentiment.

The Korean Pavilion, organized by the National Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Promotion Agency, was crowded with global buyers and visitors every day.

In particular, exhibits produced by collaboration between national intangible heritage winners and designers, such as octagonal boxes and traditional organic bowls with thinly grinding iron horns, received great response.

[Olivier Gueno / 'Alain Ducas' Paris Project Manager: I think Korean crafts are very beautiful. The ideas and forms are good, and the usage is very interesting. It's really great. / The London restaurant I'm in charge of actually uses Korean tableware. This is because it maintains the freshness of the food very well.]

[May Yen Pires/Jose Pires/ Interior/Space Designer: You don't find many handicrafts these days. All the items are made in the factory. Korean crafts are art that we should not forget.

The Maison & Object, which has been praised for our crafts, which are in harmony with tradition and modernity, was a valuable opportunity to see the possibility of Korean crafts entering the global market.

[Woo Hye-jeong / Head of Craft Planning Team, Craft Industry Promotion Office, National Heritage Agency: Teachers are working hard on making (the work), but there is no sales channel. (The National Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Promotion Agency) will continue to work until the day comes when modern reinterpreted traditional crafts are promoted around the world and we can get closer to them in our lives.]

The National Heritage Administration is said to continue to actively support the overseas sales of traditional crafts of national intangible heritage.
