The event was organized to promote the importance of media education in connection with UNESCO, and in particular, deepfake crime prevention education will be intensively implemented.
Accordingly, audience media centers in 12 locations across the country will provide preventive education to 1,000 people from 48 institutions, including schools and military units.
Kim Tae-kyu, acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, said he will actively support competency education so that all citizens can use the media safely and properly to enrich their daily lives.
