Around 8:40 a.m. today (20th), a big fire broke out at a factory in Wanggil-dong, Incheon, forcing 90 residents to evacuate, and 30 factories were damaged.

The fire authorities once issued the second stage of response, mobilizing 51 to 80 units of equipment, to extinguish the fire, and now the fire has been contained to some extent, lowering the response stage to the first stage.

No casualties have been reported so far, but more than 90 nearby residents have been evacuated due to concerns over smoke damage.

Seo-gu, Incheon, said there was a lot of smoke due to the fire, and vehicles were diverted to the surrounding roads, and nearby residents sent a notice to pay attention to smoke inhalation.

In addition, a text message was sent to nearby farmers or hikers to evacuate because of the forest fire, but fortunately, it was confirmed that they succeeded in stopping it before it spread to the mountain.

Several reports have been received by fire authorities that smoke has also been seen in Goyang and Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, local governments around the fire site.
