In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea announced that it would hold a "finish" parliamentary inspection to investigate suspicions surrounding Kim Gun-hee for the rest of the year.

Floor spokesman Kang Yoo-jung said in a National Assembly briefing, "The ruling party is an accomplice in the confusion of state affairs, focusing only on obstructing and crippling the parliamentary inspection, forgetting the duty and responsibility of monitoring the administration."

He then emphasized that all witnesses related to Kim are in a row and that government agencies are holding out while refusing to submit data, and that those who hide, cover up, and run away will be accused and punished without exception.
