Secretary-General Kim Yoon-deok said at a press conference that the issue of First Lady Kim should not be solved by clumsy actions such as an apology or installation of a second annex.
The decision to not indict Kim is a major incident that requires reforming the prosecution to the level of dissolution, he said, reiterating his intention to impeach Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung and Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office chief Lee Chang-soo as well as all prosecutors who participated in the decision.
Secretary-General Kim said, "The impeachment of the president has never been discussed at the party level," and explained that the large-scale outdoor rally to condemn the acquittal of Kim on the 2nd of next month was an appeal to the public to inform President Yoon of his situation.
