Senior spokesman Cho Seung-rae said in a briefing that the meeting is the last chance for Han to show whether he is willing to accept the people's will, and if he fails to produce convincing results again this time, he cannot avoid caving in with the government.
Secretary-General Kim Yoon-deok also stressed at a press conference that President Yoon should decide to accept the special prosecution in a meeting with Han, saying that the Kim issue is no longer resolved by an apology or a clumsy act such as setting up a second annex.
The prosecution, which cleared Kim of the allegations of stock price manipulation, said it must reform to the level of dissolution, and repeatedly expressed its intention to impeach Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung and Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Chief Lee Chang-soo as well as all prosecutors who participated in the decision-making.
