Fires continued throughout the country, with a fire in a residential-commercial building in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, killing residents.

In Incheon, a taxi driver was killed when a drunk driver hit a taxi.

Reporter Oh Tae-in reports on the incident and accident.

The fire rose from the fourth floor of the building and the interior was completely burned down.

A fire broke out at around 1:50 a.m. at a residential-commercial building in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do.

The fire burned 100 square meters and was extinguished in 40 minutes, but a resident in his 60s who was found in cardiac arrest in the elevator finally died.

At around 4:50 a.m., the resource circulation facility in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, caught fire.

There are no casualties, but we had difficulty extinguishing the waste as it burned.

The first stage of response was issued, mobilizing both the personnel and equipment of the competent fire department, and the fire was extinguished in eight hours and 20 minutes.

In Dangha-dong, Incheon, a 30-year-old drunk driving driver hit a taxi ahead of him.

The taxi was pushed toward the sidewalk due to the impact of the accident and collided with the traffic light again, eventually killing the driver.

Police are considering applying for an arrest warrant as soon as the accident investigation is completed.

A van crashed in Cheongcho Lake near Sokcho Port in Sokcho, Gangwon Province.

The Coast Guard, who was dispatched to the report of a resident who was fishing, rescued the driver, wife, and son safely from the half-locked vehicle and the surrounding area.
