Israel Defense "Enhanced attacks in southern Lebanon...Hezbollah is collapsing"

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said he was stepping up attacks on Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, foreign media reported.

"We are not only defeating the enemy, but Hezbollah is collapsing," Gallant said during a visit to Lebanon's border region on the 20th local time.

"Our goal is to completely clean up the Hezbollah region so that people in northern Israel can return home and rebuild their lives," he stressed.

Lebanon's local media reported that 14 airstrikes took place around the border town of Kiam alone.
