Samsung Electronics shares reached a new 52-week low, falling to 58,500 won at one point in the morning amid a four-day streak of 50,000 won.
This is the lowest level since it fell to 57,900 won during the day on Jan. 6 last year.
Foreign investors continued net selling for 28 consecutive days, the longest ever until the 18th.
