Group aespa will make a comeback today (21st).

The fifth mini-album 'Whiplash' on Espa will be released at 6 p.m. on various music sites.

This album is more than a new one that will be released in about five months since it was previously a hit with "Supernova." Giselle said, "As we came quickly with a new album, we will come back with good results, so please look forward to it."

The title song "Whiplash" is an EDM-based techno genre song that Espa is challenging for the first time since its debut. The understated performance and visuals that are contrary to the previous work stand out.

"The repeated chorus is attractive," Winter said. "I think this album can be described as 'digital iron taste' or 'electronic iron taste'." Ning Ning expressed confidence, saying, "The point is to make everyone want to dance even if it's five seconds."

"It feels a little more sophisticated," Giselle said of the performance. "As it is a new style that is different from the previous one, we focused more on posing and angle," Ning Ning said.

The album contains a total of six songs, including the title song, "Kill It," "Flights, Not Feelings," "Pink Hoodie," "Flowers" and "Just Another Girl."

All the members picked "Fly's Not Feelings" as their favorite song. Karina said, "The atmosphere of the song is so good. "It's music that makes you want to drive in a resort right now," Winter said, adding, "It's the first song I've ever sung as an espa."

Above all, there is a lot of pressure after the hit of 'Super Nova'. "I love all the songs in this album so much that I hope they will be loved more than 'Super Nova'," Giselle said. In addition, Ning Ning said, "This time, it would be better if you could enjoy our music and performance together rather than grades."
