Seoul University Student "Guarantee Right to Stop Retaliation Audit and Take a Break"

Seoul National University medical students strongly protested the Ministry of Education's audit of Seoul National University Medical School, which approved medical students to take a leave of absence.

Students, including Kim Min-ho, president of Seoul National University Medical School, held a rally in front of Seoul National University Medical School today (21st) and demanded that the Ministry of Education immediately stop the unfair retaliation audit and recognize the student's right to take a leave of absence.

They pointed out that the students applied for domestic or military leave of absence and that there was no point against the school rules, but the Ministry of Education arbitrarily interpreted it and abused public power.

In addition, the government did not disclose the minutes of the medical school quota allocation committee and the list of participants for privacy reasons, but the audit criticized that it indiscriminately retrieved students' personal information.
