The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Team held a joint inspection with fire authorities and the National Forensic Service at the factory that caught fire for three hours from 10:30 a.m. today (21st).
Police investigating the cause of the fire and the path of its spread around the point where the fire started explained that the fire did not appear to have been caused by arson, chemicals or explosions.
Accordingly, they said they will collect wires from the National Forensic Service and conduct inspections to see if there were any electrical problems.
Earlier, at around 8:40 a.m. yesterday (20th), a fire broke out at an industrial machinery manufacturing plant in Wanggil-dong, Incheon, and 36 factories and 70 buildings were burned.
