The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 30s yesterday (20th) on charges of assault and obstruction of justice.
Mr. A is accused of hitting his girlfriend drunk on the roadside in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul at around 11:10 p.m. last night, and pushing the dispatched police officer down.
The victim's girlfriend was found to have submitted an application for punishment to the police.
The police plan to investigate the details of the case against A and then review whether to apply anti-intentional punishment.
