A series of custom fraud cases impersonating soldiers against self-employed people require attention from all over the country.

All cases reported to YTN used the same military identification card or fake military unit official documents, but the military authorities have also started to review countermeasures.

Reporter Chung Hyeon-woo reports.

On the 3rd, a man named Sergeant Park called a butcher in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, and ordered 1.7 million won worth of pork, saying it was for a military dinner.

He also sent a government employee ID with a photo of his face and a "commitment to supply military supplies," and the document even showed the seal of the commander of the army brigade.

However, on the day he came to pick up the meat, the man sent a business card to the company asking him to order wine for him.

Ten days later, another man named Sergeant Park appeared in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do.

This time, I ordered paint for the repair of military units while showing the same civil service card.

A few days later, he asked for an order of 7.9 million won worth of combat food, saying he would pay for it with paint, but when the owner suspected of fraud questioned him, he stopped contacting him.

The owner who received the order prepared white paint and rollers like this, but Sergeant Park, who was going to pick up the goods, did not appear in the end.

At a florist in Ulsan, a man named "Lieutenant Kim" called to order naan to celebrate the promotion and asked him to order wine instead,
Earlier in
, the same document number as that used by a man who impersonated Sergeant Park showed the "commitment to supply military supplies".

In the wake of a series of fraud cases against self-employed people across the country, police are investigating whether the same criminal was committed.
An Army official said the official letter used in the incident was not an actual military unit, adding that they are considering countermeasures to prevent damage to the people.
