Four people, including a child, were killed and 24 injured when an air strike hit the entrance side of Rafik Hariri University Hospital in southern Beirut on Monday night, Reuters said, citing a statement from Lebanon's health ministry.
As Israeli forces expand their military operations against Lebanese militant Hezbollah, Israel is particularly focused on tightening its "money lines" by attacking Hezbollah's financial strongholds in Lebanon recently.
The Israeli military also pointed to the Al-Sahel hospital in southern Beirut as the site of a bunker that stores Hezbollah's funds.
The area near Beirut International Airport was also reportedly attacked by Israeli forces.
A Lebanese security official explained that the airline had to change its runway as Israeli forces struck near the main runway at the international airport.
