The Air Force says the Air Operations Command and the U.S. 7th Air Force Command held a meeting of air commanders at Osan Air Base.

At the meeting, commanders from South Korea and the U.S. shared a security situation that threatened peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the international community with the dispatch of Russian troops, as North Korea insisted on infiltrating drones and raised the level of threats against the South, the Air Force said.

He added that in case of emergency, joint tactical discussions were held to carry out joint and joint operations on the Korean Peninsula, and discussions were also held on how to carry out wartime missions and the direction of joint space operations.

Kim Hyung-soo, commander of the Air Force Operations Command, emphasized that he would further strengthen the ability to conduct joint air operations by discussing operational plans and the concept of power management against North Korea's advancing threats.
