With the rain expanding across the country, more than 100mm of autumn rain poured down the coast of Gyeongnam, including Busan and Tongyeong, overnight.

The heavy rain warning on the southern coast has been lifted, but there will be about 50mm more rain in the future, and the temperature will drop sharply after the rain stops.

I'm connecting with the reporter. Reporter Kim Minkyung!

All heavy rain warnings on the southern coast have been lifted?

[Reporter]
Until the morning, the rather strong rain clouds located on the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do fell to the east, and all heavy rain warnings have now been lifted.

Today alone, the southern coastal areas, such as Geoje with 136.8mm and Yeosu with 113.1mm, received more than 100mm of autumn rain.

Rain clouds that are strong enough to issue a heavy rain warning have been removed, but it is still raining mainly in the east.

As the rain clouds gradually fall to the east, there are some places that have been in a lull for a while.

Rain clouds are expected to flow in from the West Sea again, so even where the rain has stopped, there will be places where it will pour again in the afternoon.

In the future, rain is expected to fall 5 to 50mm more across the country.

In addition to the rain, we also need to prepare for strong winds.

A preliminary warning for strong winds is being issued around Jeju Island and the coastal area.

By tomorrow, instantaneous wind speeds of more than 25 meters per second are expected on the coast and mountains, and strong winds of 15 to 20 meters per second are expected in most parts of the country.

After the rain stops tomorrow, the temperature drops to early and mid-November?

[Reporter]
The temperature in Seoul is expected to drop to 11 degrees tomorrow and to 8 degrees the day after tomorrow.

This is because the strong chill in the north is expected to move south behind the rain cloud.

The Korea Meteorological Administration expects cold winds to strengthen from tomorrow afternoon after the rain stops and daytime temperatures to drop by more than 4 to 5 degrees from previous years.

In particular, the morning after tomorrow will see the coldest autumn weather this fall in mid-November as the central inland temperature drops to around 5 degrees Celsius.
