Hamas, a Palestinian militant group that has lost its head Shinwar, is reportedly considering introducing a collective leadership system.

The Times of Israel reported on the 21st local time, citing sources inside Hamas, that Hamas will not elect a new political leader until March next year, and that a five-member committee will lead Hamas as a group.

Earlier in August, Hamas set up a five-member commission in Doha, Qatar.

Hamas' strong consideration of the introduction of a collective leadership system seems to take into account Israel's persistent attacks on the head of the organization.
