The Incheon District Court sentenced a man in his 40s to three and a half years in prison today (22nd) on charges of stabbing his mother to death.

The court explained that the victim could have lost his life and suffered considerable trauma, but considered the victim and other family members' pleas for leniency.

Mr. A is accused of trying to murder his mother in her 60s by stabbing her with a weapon, saying that he would only partially support the sale price of the house he was moving to on the street in Michuhol-gu, Incheon on May 24.
