Chairman Woo held a delivery ceremony at the National Assembly and explained how Kim donated the tombstone, saying he decided to send it home after seeing the recent controversy over the relocation of the bust of General Hong Beom-do of the Korea Military Academy.
On the happy day of delivering the tombstone, he said he was told that he would finally relocate the bust in the military to another place on campus, criticizing it as erasing the traces of the Independence Army, the root of the Korean military, and contrary to the will of Korean compatriots in Goryeo.
