Jo Yong-pil, the 56th anniversary of his debut, has released his 20th full-length album.

In this album, he continued his musical transformation, saying that his music life is a challenge itself.

I'm reporter Lee Kyung-guk.

[Reporter] Cho Yong-pil, the king of
, is back with a full-length album after 11 years.

I've already completed my 20th full-length album, four songs that I've released step by step since two years ago, and three new songs.

Following the 19th album, which showed a bold musical transformation, rock, ballad, and electronica proved their youthful senses in this album.

They say they put in more effort, especially the album that could be the last.

[Cho Yongpil / Singer: It's probably the last album] I've never been satisfied with it. People around me say, "I think this is enough," but I get angry inside.]

Even though he is in his 70s and has already celebrated his 56th anniversary, Cho Yong-pil continues to challenge and learn.

[Cho Yong Pil / Singer: We need to listen to various genres and keep learning. (Even now) I study a lot about singing and practicing how to make a voice..]

Fans are also responding to this effort with affection.

[Oh Mi-yeon / Cho Yong-pil Fan: I think it's a legendary legend. He doesn't care about the genre of music. He's trying to do it again. It's the best.]

The title song of this album is "Stay".

Instead of talking about love, a familiar topic, it contains comfort for everyone living in this era.

[Cho Yong-pil / Singer] There are songs that cheer you up or give you hope. I received such comfort, so I have to do it....]

Cho Yong-pil will go on a tour from Seoul to Daegu and Busan from the 23rd of next month.

In commemoration of the release of his 20th album, he plans to present a stage that encompasses his music world.
