Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has claimed that North Korea is sending troops to Russia to solve its economic difficulties.

According to Ukrainian media, including the Kyiv Independent, on the 22nd local time, President Zelenskyy said North Korea supports Russia because of "money," adding, "North Korea is extremely poor, so we will send its people to the front line to overcome poverty."

However, he argued that Russia would have serious difficulty in command and management even if North Korean troops were deployed to the battlefield due to language problems.

"With regard to North Korea, Russia is carefully dealing with the issue in consideration of China's reaction, and the European Union and the United States are also very careful about this," he said. "But we are sending a warning because we know this is dangerous for us."

President Zelensky has condemned the move to send North Korean troops every day, saying he confirmed it through his own intelligence agency.
