Two medical organizations, including the Korean Medical Association, have decided to participate in the ruling and opposition parties' consultative body, but the representatives of medical doctors and medical students have repeatedly said they have no intention of participating.

Park Dan-dan, chairman of the emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association, posted a message yesterday (22nd) on SNS, saying, "I am not willing to participate in the shameless council."

Here, three chairmen of the emergency committee of the Korean Medical University and Medical School Student Association were also named, making it clear that they would not participate in the consultative body.

For this reason, even if the ruling and opposition parties' government consultative body is in operation, it is unclear whether effective medical normalization measures will be discussed as key subjects will be excluded.
