JPMorgan Chase Chairman Jamie Dimon, dubbed the "Emperor of Wall Street," privately expressed his support for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Dimon told acquaintances that he was considering taking over as Treasury Secretary if Democrats win, the New York Times said, expressing his support for Harris.

As for former President Trump, he is also said to have told his colleagues that denying the results of the 2020 presidential election remains a reason for disqualification.

Dimon, a Democrat, did not disclose his political position because he feared former President Trump would retaliate if the Republican Party won, his colleagues said.

Former President Trump's recent increased threat of political retaliation has raised concerns among executives of major U.S. conglomerates about disclosing their political views.

During the U.S. presidential campaign, presidential campaigns from both parties have been trying to secure the public support of Dimon, who has great influence on Wall Street.

Earlier this month, former President Trump posted on his SNS account that Dimon supported him, but JPMorgan immediately denied it.
