KRW/USD exchange rate in range of KRW 1,380 due to 'Trump trade' impact

The won-dollar exchange rate has surpassed 1,380 won and is on the rise.

On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,380.3 won, up 0.2 won, rising to 1,385 won in early trading, increasing its gains.It is the first time in about three months that the

won-dollar exchange rate has exceeded 1,380 won since July.

The dollar has recently gained strength as the possibility of U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's election has been highlighted, raising the possibility of high tariffs, so-called Trump trade.
