An incumbent police officer who stole the seized money of voice phishing was arrested and sent.

The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul handed over Sergeant Kim, who is suspected of stealing money and valuables seized during the investigation, to the prosecution today (23rd).

Sergeant Kim is accused of stealing cash stored in the warehouse after confiscating it while investigating the voice phishing crime.

Sergeant Kim was found to have been caught trying to return the stolen money after he was recently found to have stolen 300 million won worth of confiscated goods by Sergeant Jeong from the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul.

The police immediately arrested Sergeant Kim on the 16th and removed his position.
