Minjoo "President Promotes Polls on Alleged involvement of Myung Tae-kyun in the Presidential Election...Suspected manipulation"

The Democratic Party of Korea argued that it is necessary to find out the truth, saying that President Yoon Suk Yeol directly promoted a poll by the Future Korea Research Institute, which was suspected of involvement of Myung Tae-kyun ahead of the last presidential election.

Spokesman Han Min-soo told reporters that on August 2, 2021, three days after President Yoon joined the People's Power, he posted the results of a poll organized by the Korea Institute for Future Studies on YouTube, which said he was the No. 1 presidential candidate.

At the same time, a poll by other organizations showed that Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea was far ahead of Yoon, pointing out that there was a possibility of manipulating public opinion aimed at the effect of taking a side.

A spokesman reiterated the necessity and urgency of the special prosecutor's investigation, saying that suspicions surrounding Kim Gun-hee and Myung are growing.
