According to a survey on the perception of the Low Fertility and Aging Society Committee, the number of respondents who are willing to give birth increased by 7% from March.
In terms of the increase, women were higher.
When I asked if you'd like to give birth to a family that doesn't currently have children, it's 5.1% higher than it was 6 months ago.
The increase in the willingness to give birth was greater for women, but more men wanted to have children.
On the other hand, when I asked a couple with children if they would like to have more children, it was slightly lower than in March.
The number one response was that the cost of raising children was borne as a reason for not having or deciding to have more children.
The number of babies born in August exceeded 20,000, marking the second consecutive month of increase amid higher awareness of having to give birth than half a year ago.
As the number of births in all months has increased in the past five months except in June, there is a possibility that the annual number of births will turn positive for the first time in 10 years.
