Book bombing GP verification video released...a rush of drumming

A video clip showing a South Korean verification team visiting North Korea's front-line surveillance posts and GPs destroyed under the September 19 inter-Korean military agreement in 2018 to verify whether they were disabled was released.

The video was released by Yoo Yong-won, a member of the People's Power, after the Ministry of National Defense released confidential information and submitted it to the National Assembly's Defense Committee, and when the South Korean verification team found and pointed out a structure believed to be a gun eye, the North surrounded it and blocked the South's verification team from accessing it because it was a land mine.

When the South Korean verification team pointed out that the concrete structure, which is believed to be the gun eye of the North Korean GP, was not connected to the post, the North said it was not connected, but explained that it is not operating now.

A gun eye is a combat facility connected to a GP by an underground tunnel or traffic signal, and is a position where direct fire weapons such as machine guns and rifles can be operated.

The South Korean verification team was unable to enter the structure and took photos of the structure from outside with the consent of the North, but the destroyed GP had to remove all of the gun's eyes, but there were still suspected gun's eyes.

The Ministry of National Defense previously released the confidentiality of the North Korean destruction GP verification report and submitted it to the National Assembly's National Defense Committee, and there are signs of poor verification throughout the report, sparking controversy over the ministry's announcement at the time that it confirmed the complete disablement.
