Vice President Harris made the remarks during an emergency press conference at his Washington, D.C., residence on the 23rd local time, referring to the revelations of John Kelly, who served as White House chief of staff during former President Trump's tenure.
Vice President Harris said Trump repeatedly called his fellow American an internal enemy and even said he would use the U.S. military to kick him out, saying anyone who criticizes him, including judges, journalists and neutral election officials, could be what former President Trump sees as an "internal enemy."
He also said it was very problematic and dangerous for Trump to summon Hitler, who killed 6 million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans, and stressed that all of this is another evidence of what Trump is like.
At the same time, Trump wants unchecked power, adding that he would not be able to have someone like John Kelly play a guardrail role in a second term.
