Putin "U.S. weaponizes dollar"...BRICS INVESTMENT PLATFORM PROPOSED

Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested creating a new investment platform for the BRICS, saying the dollar has become a political tool.

Putin attended the BRICS summit in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia, on the 23rd local time and pointed out that "the U.S. is weaponizing the dollar," adding, "This is a big mistake."

"We don't refuse to use the dollar," he continued, "but as much as we can't use the dollar, we have no choice but to look for alternatives."

"We propose the creation of a new BRICS investment platform," he said. "It will be a powerful tool to support our economy."
