The Joint Chiefs of Staff said that considering the wind direction, garbage balloons are likely to move to Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province and the Seoul metropolitan area.
It is the 30th time since May that North Korea has flown a garbage balloon.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff asked them not to contact any balloons and to report them to a nearby military unit or police.
